Party or Home
Cooked up by Lori on Dec 27, 2007What’s everyone doing for New Years?? Are you all heading out to a party or staying home? I’m sure we will get together with some friends but that’s about it.
Please folks, if you drink…DON’T drive. Just spend the night, call a taxi, or you can even call the police and ask for a ride home. While that might seem extreme or embarrassing, it’s not near has extreme as riding in a funeral car!
We stopped going out on New Years Eve several years ago after a near accident. We now stay home and make home made pizza and the kids LOVE it! Rather than make one or two big pizza’s everyone gets to make their own individual pizza with their own choice of toppings. It’s easy and fun and everyone is “usually” happy…LOL!
We play games or watch TV and at midnight we go outside banging pots and pans. Not sure why though…LOL! But my kids are teens now and somehow I don’t think they’re going to want to bang on the pots and pans anymore
