Four Foods and more

I’m sure my absence has been noticed and I do apologize.  I’ve got so many things going on right now that I just had to put my blogs on the back burner!  I’ll be gone most of the weekend but will return Monday with a new recipe with PICTURES!! I know you all have been asking and waiting patiently for a post with pics so I’m gonna make sure to get one out to ya!

Just a quick note: I’ve got a contest going on at my other blog, Blogging with Cents.  You can win a to do list task manager to help you stay organized.  It’s software for everybody and it’s way better than post it notes:)  Be sure to check it out and enter!

Now for the Four Food Meme from my gal Val.

#1. What’s your favorite potato chip?

I have 2.  Bugles and those Rings by Tom Co???  I can’t think of the name of them but they come in a red bag and are fat ring looking things.

#2. Do you use butter, margarine, both or neither?

I use both and a lot of it!  Hmmm, maybe that’s why I’m kind of a fatty?

#3. What’s your favorite mixed alcoholic (or virgin) drink?

Drink virgin?? LOL….not this gal;)  Dang it, I have 2 again.  It’s hard to just pick one so I’ll tell ya both.  Sex on the beach and a good ol’ Whiskey Sour!

#4. What’s your favorite vegetable and how do you prepare it?

I would have to the old fashion potato is my fave!  I love it mashed with TONS of butter and pepper.  Depending on my mood, I’ll throw in sour cream and bacon bits:)

And that concludes the four food meme for this week.  If you haven’t joined by now, then you’re lame!  We all need to network together for traffic, as well as, to gain new friends and find more great recipes! So head over and join people.

Just a note: For those who don’t think potatoes are vegetables here is a quote from the experts!

What exactly is a potato, is it classified as a vegetable or what?

Editor’s reply: a potato is a tuber, as described in the article. it is also a vegetable, because it is an edible part of the roots of a plant.

And for the record, I realize Bugles are not exactly a potato chip but that’s how I classify them;)
