Four Foods Meme 10

Cooked up by Lori on Feb 28, 2008

Alrighty folks, it’s time for another round of Four Foods Meme! Woohoo:)  Join in and meet lots of nice cooks and even non-cooks.

Here are this week’s four questions.

#1. Do you ever use scissors to cut any foods? Which? Raw or cooked?

ABSOLUTELY!  I use them with pizza, lettuce, and trimming pie crusts.

#2. Popcorn. Homemade, microwave, bagged, hot, cold. How do you like it?

I LOVE homemade but I never do it.  Yep, I’m too dang lazy.  I use microwave, mainly because my mom buys way too much for Halloween and we get the leftovers!  What I really like though, is popcorn covered in white almond bark;)  Now that’s some good stuff people!

#3. Sushi. Love it or hate it?

*BALUH*….That’s the sound of me barfing right now:(

#4. Share a dessert recipe.

POOKEY (I may have shared this one already but I can’t remember)

  • Oreos
  • Whip Cream
  • Chocolate and/or Vanilla pudding

Make your pudding and layer all 3 ingredients.  Refrigerate and eat up!  Super easy and it’s wonderful in the summer time:)

  1. #1 Yes. Mostly I use them for scallions.
#2 Microwave popcorn - movie theater butter. Yum
    #3 Hate!
    #4 Frosty Orange Cups

Dissolve 1 pkg orange flavor jello mix in 1 cup boiling water. Gradually add 2 cups softened vanilla ice cream, stirring with wire whisk until well blended. Spoon into 4 dessert cups and refrigerate 20 minutes or until chilled.

  3. I don’t do raw fish, but sushi is actually a rice roll with (whatever) in the center - lots of vegetable varieties out there.
