Four Foods on Friday & White Popcorn
I haven’t done FFOF in awhile but I’ve been terribly busy lately. I’m hoping to get forgiveness for not participating in recent ones by doing it this week and telling Val that she’s is just lovely;)
Here are this week’s questions!
- What’s your favorite white beverage? If you don’t have one, what’s your favorite beverage with something white in it?
Hmmm, this is a toughy. I would have to say that I really enjoy Colorado Bulldogs. It’s an alcholic beverage that has milk in it. Weird I know but I like it.
- What’s your favorite white gravy, sauce, condiment, dressing or topping?
SALT! I know, I know…salt is unhealthy but dang it makes your food good!
- What’s your favorite white item from the refrigerated section?
Cottage Cheese. I LOVE cottage cheese and I always get it with my salads when we go out to eat. Did I just hear an ewwwwe gross??? OH NUH UH! You’re the weirdo my friend, not me.
- Share a recipe for something white.
WHITE POPCORN
Ingredients
- Plain popcorn
- Almond Bark
Directions
Melt your almond bark, pour over popped popcorn and mix well. Spread out on waxed paper until dry?..firm?? You know what I mean..I hope. That’s it!!!! YUMMY! My sister-in-law makes this stuff and it’s to die for!
Hubby and I do the same thing with the cottage cheese if we’re out to eat. But its on the side, not plopped in the middle. I know people who put it in the middle and dump ranch dressing on it! Ewww!

Favorite white refrigerated: feta cheese or sour cream (it’s a tie)
Sorry, but I don’t have a recipe for something white (that’s why I read your blog…it’s been a tremendous help to me in the cooking department!) Keep up the great work!

Salad bars were where I fell in love with cottage cheese, back inthe day when I could eat raw veggies. Had to give those up, but I still pig out on cottage cheese. With raisins, and sometimes sunflower seeds, too. Something else I learned “by mistake” from salad bars, lol!
