Your Last Meal Would Be?
I just finished watching a movie where the prisoner had to choose his last meal before he was executed, I know….sad! Anyways, it got me thinking about what MY last meal would be if I was in the position of having to choose it and I thought it would be interesting to hear what YOURS would be as well.
After thinking and thinking, I finally decided on a meal.
- I would absolutely have to have a Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, make that 2.
- Lasagna because I really, really love it. Actually, I love the Stouffer’s one and I would want it cooked longer to get those crispy edges!
- 1 box of Krispy Kreme donuts! I LOVE them:) Please, somebody send me some..lol.
I know it’s not much of a meal but gosh it would be good!!!! So what would YOUR last meal be???

Anything Mexican!!
I Play Outside The Boxs last blog post..WOW…LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!
Bacon wrapped Scallops

T-bone steak and a pan of Rice Krispie Treats.

Since I wouldn’t have to worry about calories, I would choose all sorts of chips and dips. For dessert pecan pie and coffee.
I agree on the Krispy Kremes! But I would also want some good ol’ comfort food - mac n cheese, chicken, mashed potatoes. Mmmm…

Suprised you didn’t say something homecooked! Okay, my last meal would have to be from my favorite place to eat, Red Mesa. I would have the wallye that they grill in a corn husk. They have this mix of corn, white rice, salsa and black beans served with it. Then I’d get two big casa margaritas and the chips and salsa. For dessert, deep fried ice cream! My mouth is watering just thinking about this!
Sommers last blog post..To Vaccinate or Not to Vaccinate…that’s the question!
thats a good question, and I’ve even thought of this before. I would want a large many course meal, like a good bottle of sauvignon blanc, a ceaser salad, french onion soup, steak a poivre, loaded baked potato, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. sounds delicious. now thats a last meal.

Last meal:
Grilled steak and pork chops - well done
Jalapeno poppers - lots of them!
Huge brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup
Margaritas from Caprock Cafe (enough to drown in)
And a whole pack of cigarettes to smoke with my margaritas!
It would have to be a multi-course “tasting” meal:
A gin martini - shaken
Seared foie gras
A Margarita (rocks)
Seared chili crusted scallops
Halibut ceviche, plaintain chips
Glass of savignon blanc
Roasted beet salad with gorgonzola and candied walnuts
Pacific oysters - Kumamotos, Fanny Bays, and Buckley Bays
Cheese course - including Boucheron, triple cream brie, stilton
Glass of chardonnay
New England Lobster Boil - whole lobster, steamers, drawn butter
Glass of cabernet
Kobe beef filet (rare)
Truffled mashed potatoes
Roasted brussels sprouts with sage brown butter
Glass of scotch
Espresso
Dessert:
Creme brulee
3 chocolate truffles - white, dark, raspberry
3 small scoops of gelato - Dulce de leche, espresso, and fior de leche
Frangelico and coffee
This might take me a while to get through, but it would be amazing!
Ooo..interesting to think about!
First I’d start off with a homegrown, ripe tomato warm from the sun, sliced with salt.
Then, Chili’s Lettuce Wraps - my most favorite restaurant meal!
For dessert - my family’s homemade chocolate brownies.
To end, since I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I adore Starbuck’s Mocha Frappacino’s, I’d need a Venti. (my husband calls this “candy coffee”!) :o)
I would want shrimp scampi from Cheesecake Factory and Creme Brulee for dessert!
Jens last blog post..House Full O’ McCrories
I would go with Tasycakes or Little Debbies swiss cake rolls - a whole box… w/ a glass of milk.
Great blog, glad I found it.
Ever in the market for some funny food story reading - check out http://www.expiredfoods.com.
If I could choose, I would have spaghetti and meatballs and a large salad for my last meal and chocolate cake for my dessert..
I looked for the place to comment for the Wilton Muffin pan contest.. All I could find were the previous posts.. I put your Wilton muffin pan contest on my blog and I added your site to mu blogroll..
I hope this is the right place, because I didn’t see a place for comments immediately under the contest post..
Hopes this gets an entry. Thanks for hosting..
I only have one Wilton cake pan that my Mom left to me when she passed on last year…
I love it for more reasons than just baking..
Have a great evening..

All kinds of seafood, shrimp made all different ways except fried, clams & oysters on the half shell, lobster, crab legs, mussels, fried catfish, etc….. I’d even like some kind of fish tacos or something Mexican made with fish.
A huge salad with Ranch dressing
Pasta with tomato sauce and more fish!
All kinds of chocolate cakes with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and cherries on the side to add as I like.
Darn, I’m starving now

Oh.My.Gosh.
I’m so hungry now reading what everyone wrote - they are all so yummy sounding!
This is a tough question for me - I HATE making decisions - especially ones like this!!! The LAST meal - ever??!?! I can’t even fathom it!
But I would definitely want it to include steak, or maybe lamb with some nice grilled shrimp on the side! A wonderful salad with tomoatoes, blue cheese, egg, bacon and dressing. Some nice fresh steamed broccoli and roasted asparagus. And for dessert - a wonderful little sampling of all things good and sweet and gooey: cheesecake w/caramel sauce, something w/strawberries and rhubard, homemade vanilla ice cream, and a warm peach cobbler. And a nice bottle of blackberry merlot and several cans of Dr Pepper.

Oh - and add this to my other post - definitely a few Krisy Kremes - hot off the line!! They opened a store here but it closed down after about a year — the hometown donut shop somehow ran them out. Still not sure how that happened.

oooooh definately a 2 litre of Diet Dr Depper and a dozen Krispy Kreme strawberry cheesecake doughnuts too! (I am so drolling right now, LOL)
Storms last blog post..Shopping Deals Today
This reminds me of the “Last Meal Club” from the “King of the Hill” episode, “Reborn to be Wild”
DALE: “I’d ask for the world’s rarest truffle. Then while they were searching for it, I’d tunnel my way to freedom. Of course, then I’d miss eating the world’s rarest truffle. Quite the quandary.”
I think a good last meal would be a slab of ribs from Williams Smokehouse in Houston.
