In the Kitchen with Cooking for Real and Ask Aida

Okay all you Food Network foodie fans….have you heard the new buzz about the ‘In the Kitchen’ weekend shows, Ask Aida and Cooking for Real??? Well if not, then you must be in the pantry closet because they’re two shows that you don’t want to miss!

So let’s meet Sunny first of Cooking for Real (to the left). She serves up REAL down home cookin’ which I’m a big fan of and uses easy to find ingredients with affordable menus. She is my kind of gal and I’ll be sharing some of her recipes with you over the next week! Very delightful and refreshing!
Next up is Aida from Ask Aida. This one is HOT my friends. Food networks first Interactive show where you can upload, download, log on, and yes…even Ask Aida! Very cool concept where, we, the viewers can live chat, text, call in, etc and ask her Aida what we want! Whether you have culinary questions or cooking questions, she says she can answer them all! I absolutely love this idea!!!

I like Cooking For Real, she prepares recipes that my family would actually enjoy eating. I don’t really like Ask Aida, they need to do some revamping or something to make it a better show.

These are great shows. Cooking for real has a great host. I love the idea of down home cooking. Ask Aida-I love the idea of an interactive cooking show.

I watch Food Network all the time, but haven’t seen the new shows due to school starting, the Olympics, and the election news. I will try to take a look at them as soon as I can. I love to cook and have quite a cookbook collection and would love to win!

Both shows are sweet.
I have watched both these shows weekly. I love Ask Aida the idea of her answering questions from the public and giving such great ideas and answers. Cooking for real is also a great show with great recipes, I have actually made a recipe from the show Plum Tart and it was so good!

I really like Sunny in Cooking for Real (and actually how’d that get on my plate too), I don’t like ask Aida quite as much, I’m not sure why. I don’t often watch food network on weekends though, so I’m not sure how much I’ll see then.

Not a big fan!! Cooking for real: She just doesn’t seem like an authority on food. The interactive show is a great idea, they should of given the show to Gertler who introduced the idea on the Next Food Networ Star.
