2nd Place is Okay!

Well, it’s official!! I came in second place at the Blogger’s Choice Awards for Best Food Blog. WOOHOO! Of course, I would loved to have come in first but I was 157 votes shy from the ever so popular Pioneer Woman. That’s okay though…I’m proud to have won second place and a total of 300 votes ain’t to shabby! Coming in third was Cake Wrecks which is a very humorous blog!
They are already taking nominations for the next year and there are tons of categories including the best food blog so I encourage you to go and nominate someone and start voting!!! By the way, you can vote for more than one person in the same category, you just can’t vote for the same person twice in the same category;)

Congratulations! I made the bread rolls for our Thanksgiving meal and my son and I both enjoyed them. I’m adding the recipe to my Thanksgiving/Christmas meals folder because he liked them. I made half of the recipe and only let them rise for 45 minutes (because I really did think of making rolls at the last minute). Next time I might try just making 1/3 of the recipe because I prefer them straight out of the oven.
