Tomato Cheddar Mac and Cheese
A gal emailed me the other day and shared one of her favorite recipes, however, she didn’t really give me specifics so I had to go with the flow. Her name is Sarah from Team Mom and she’s RAWKS! Anyways, she gave me ingredients but not quantity or true directions so this recipe is a “fly by the seat of my pants” one! It’s easy and it was great but I changed a couple of things up.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 box of cooked Penne
- 2 cans of crushed tomatoes ( I used the Delmonte garlic & onion)
- Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
In a pot, mix together all three ingredients, top with some extra grated cheddar, and pop in the oven for about 35 minutes. This is very simply and you could easily make it your own! My casserole dish was about an 8×11 by the way.
Enjoy!!!

Um yum! I’m going to make this one asap!

My grandmother used to make something like this, but she would cook up some ground beef and onions, mix it all together and call it her macaroni casserole. It’s a great tasting, simple meal that’s sure to please everyone, including the kids!
