I don't know how well this would go over for older kids, but my daughter loved it. I would give her "special napkins" aka party store napkins that were in the clearance bins. I think most of them were 50 cents to a dollar! I bought a variety (sesame street and other characters, hawaiian flowers, polka dots) and everyday she was excited to see what character or print she got. It was her thing and everyone always wanted to know what her napkin was that day!

Since I really want to do everything I can to foster a great relationship between my kids, I'm thinking I may take fun/funny pictures of baby brother to pack in big sister's lunch or backpack. As for food ideas, when I was a kid I always especially loved a sandwich made on a mini-bagel because it had a "peep hole" so I could see what was inside. And I love the idea of sending hummus and lots of yummy veggies and crackers to dip in it instead of just another boring sandwich.

I buy bento box accessories. Even though they don't bring bento food type lunches all the time, they get a kick out of the cute little accessories in their lunch box and their friends are thoroughly impressed :)
And my girls are in high school! lol!

I don't have to pack a school lunch for my kiddos, but if I did you can bet I'd be packing them sweet treats. ;) I've never even seen Wonka Kazoozles, though. Where can I get them? They sound fun!
