My middle son loves chocolate but my oldest is not so fond of it so I have always have to find a middle ground. I found this Chocolate Bundt Cake that fits in the middle perfectly because it’s still chocolate but not as sweet as a chocolate cake. We made this last night and it takes not time to prepare. It was really good!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 c. Miracle Whip (no subs)
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Baking cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Confectioners sugar (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
In a mixing bowl, combine Miracle Whip, water, and vanilla. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to Miracle Whip mixture and beat until mixed. Transfer to a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350′ for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack. Dust with Confectioners sugar if you want.

That looks yummy! I am always leary of this dessert recipes that call for mayo because I don’t normally like it.
This sounds like it would work in my house too. Looks like a very dense type of cake.
Lori, I dislike Mayo like crazy but never tasted it at all;)
oh wow! this looks so good. I will try this recipe for sure! I will let you know how it turns out for me.
My mother always used to make this cake and it was my favorite. It’s great for when you need a cake but don’t have any eggs on hand.
I’ll be honest…the Miracle Whip scares me. Are you sure you can’t sub it out and use a few eggs and a bit of oil? The cake looks great otherwise!
Don’t let the Miracle Whip scare you. You can’t taste it at all. It makes a very moist cake. I’ve used it in other recipes and have gotten rave reviews.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!
I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! We’re going to try this tonight!! It’s easy & I have all the ingredients at home. I wonder if you could put a little cinnamon in it as well?? I’m going to try it anyway. Will let you know how it turns out.
This was a great recipe. And you Really can’t taste the Miracle Whip
at all. Love this recipe.
Great recipe idea! I love the idea of merical whip.
would choc chips be alright in here? and how many.
Miracle Whip? Hmm… Not sure I could do that, lol.
But I do love Chocolate Cake, so I’m tempted.
this looks like a Kitchen Aide mixer…another chance to win
