I’ve missed the last week or two of the Four Foods on Friday meme….sorry Val;) I’ll be answering the questions and including a tater recipe! Here we go…………….
Here are this week’s four questions.
- What’s your favorite fruit and how do you like to eat it?
My favorite fruit is the apple. I LOVE to eat in Apple Pie…….LMAO!
- What is the one spice in your kitchen you use more than any other?
My own homemade steak like seasoning. It’s just a mixture of several and I swear we put that on everything.
- Pudding. Instant, stovetop or premade?
I love the pudding I make for my banana pudding. It’s homemade and was my grandmother’s recipe. Other than that, we buy already packaged pudding.
- Share a recipe using potatoes.
LORI’S CHEESE TATERS
INGREDIENTS:
- 7 or 8 potatoes (peeled and smaller cubes, not huge chunks)
- Chedder cheese
- 1 stick of butter
- half an onion (chopped fine)
- bacon bits (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Place your cubed taters in a casserole pan. I spray it with nonstick spray first. Spread the onion and bacon bits over the taters. Slice the butter evenly over taters. Cover with foil and place in 400′ preheated oven until done. Remove foil and cover in cheese. Stick back in oven until cheese is melted!

Potato recipe sounds yummy!

Sounds delicious. I love making stuff with taters. My kids love tater tots so when I’m feeling generous I make this dish with ground lean beef (uncooked) smashed at the bottoms of a casserol dish. I then add a can of cream of mushroom soup and top it with tater tots. One hour at 350 and everyone is happy and full. Not the healthiest meal but they all love it!
