Final Call-Taking the Day Off-Meme

The standmixer contest is about over!!! If you haven’t entered, you better hurry.  If you like quick and easy recipes and the four food meme, then head over to Fun, Craft, and Recipes   I’m doing this meme today and then taking the day off!  It’s our 15th anniversary today so my time goes to my man!!

Here are this week’s four questions.

#1. What is your favorite kind of cheese for snacking?

Oh gosh, this is hard.  I have to pick 2! I LOVE cheddar slices & apple.  I also LOVE cream cheese with any kind of crackers!

#2. What is your favorite kind of jelly?

Well, it is with the jellies but not actually called a jelly.  APPLE BUTTER!!!  Man this is good on tortillas:)

#3. Yogurt. Regular or custard style?

YUCK ****BARF****  Sorry, can’t do it.

#4. Share a recipe for a stew or soup.

ZESTY MINESTRONE SOUP

• 2 cans minestrone soup
• 1 can ranch style beans
• 1 can Ro-tel chilies & tomatoes
• 1 c water
• 1lb. hamburger meat
• 1/2 c. chopped onions
• 1 small jar Cheez Whiz

Brown hamburger meat and drain.  Add onions, soup, beans, Ro-tel, and water.  Simmer together for 40 minutes.  Before serving,  add cheese to soup and mix in with other ingredients!
