Four Foods Meme 1

Every week I participate in the Four Foods Friday Meme.  I usually do it on my other blog but will now be doing it here:)  I hope you join in.  It’s fun and it’s a great way to get to know others.

Here are this week’s four questions.

#1.  What are your favorite toppings and condiments to put on a hamburger?

I put lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, mustard, & ketchup!

#2.  Applesauce. Chunky, flavored, sweetened, unsweetened. How do you like it?

I LOVE apple butter.  Isn’t that sort of applesauce? It’s great on bread or tortillas! Hmmm, good.

#3.  Rice. What is your favorite way to make rice?

Well, of course we usually eat “Spanish” rice but my favorite is the breakfast way.  Boil your rice in milk and sugar and talk about delicious!! (And I wonder why I’m a fatty)

#4.  Coffee. Is buying beans and grinding them worth the extra expense over ground coffee?

I think it IS worth it, however, we are WAY TOO lazy!  Thank you Folgers for making it easy:)

That’s it! Now go do yours or at least read what the others wrote:)

#1. What are your favorite toppings and condiments to put on a hamburger?

Hmmm…depends on my mood. Today I would choose pepper-jack cheese, tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, mustard and ketchup

#2. Applesauce. Chunky, flavored, sweetened, unsweetened. How do you like it?

Homemade! Love getting boxes and boxes of apples in the fall and making applesauce and dehydrated apples.

#3. Rice. What is your favorite way to make rice?

I like it with cheese, sour cream and green chili. Then I bake it.

#4. Coffee. Is buying beans and grinding them worth the extra expense over ground coffee?

Probably, but I’m not a coffee drinker. Love the smell, but can’t drink it…ick. I even have a wooden tray filled with coffee beans and candles in the middle of my table ~ smells wonderful, but give me a big mug of hot tea to drink.

Those sure do sound good!! I’m really not a coffee drinker either.

I got a new link on my site…Submit Your Recipe! If you get bored and want to submit, I’ll link back to your blog:)

  1. [...] A cowboy’s wife loves apple butter. So do I! Most people I run into have either never had it or don’t like it. Lori also offers some good suggestions for Thanksgiving meals. I particularly like her idea for a personalized tablecloth. [...]
