Thanks for the recipe! Just as important is the baking dish – what was used here? Looks like an Emile Henry dish? That is my favorite for baking – great selection at http://www.parkerspantry.com.
I have a thing about presentation (and it must be a quality product)…The dish you show is great.

This sounds so delicious! I don’t think I have had a pie like this with a strudel like top. Going to have to try this one.

Yum! Made it tonight with a combination of one can of apple filling and 3 granny smiths in my fridge. It was great. The recipe would have been fantastic by itself…I just didn’t want to wait to go back to the store for more apples.
