Honey Mustard Glazed Pork Chops

By Zachary into January’s Food Challenge

INGREDIENTS

  • Onion slices
  • 1 Can of Corn
  • 1 Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 4 Pork Chops (bone in or boneless)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Crushed Corn Flakes
  • 2-4 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 2-4 Tablespoons of Mustard
  • Hot sauce
  • Bacon (crisp cooked)

DIRECTIONS

Spray a casserole dish with Pam, and layer thin slices of onion across
bottom of dish.

Drain a can of corn and layer over top of the onions. Dot corn with
chopped bell pepper.

Wash pork chops and coat each chop with corn flake crumbs. Lay chops on
top of corn.

Mix honey and mustard, to taste, to make your glaze. I used a couple
tablespoons of mustard with equal amount of honey.

Drizzle glaze over pork chops, sprinkling a little hot sauce on the
glaze. Dot with remaining sliced onion and chopped bell pepper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes

When done baking, sprinkle crisp cooked bacon , on top, if desired.
