Just made your recipe, loved them so much. This was my first by scratch waffles. I was a little intimidated at first but once I got going it was a breeze. Thanks for sharing.

Made these this morning for my family and they loved 'em!!! Thanks. I think I'll try to add some cinnamon next time and also not mix as much as I did. ;-$

My mother made a similar recipe.
Separate the eggs whites and whip till stiff, then fold into batter gently.
NOw take about 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda mix with maybe 2 tablespoons of warm water add this last and do not stir very much. This adds even more fluff to an already great recipe!
Add fruit/nuts into batter or after drop in when you have poured onto grill.
Eat, then go get massage! Take the day OFF!

This is a delicious waffle recipe. What kind of kitchen stand mixer do you use? I like your website a lot.

These waffles are absolutely amazing!!! My whole family was in love. In fact my husband even let out a little groan of satisfaction after taking a bite! Impressive :) Thank you for sharing it. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it!

add a little flour to your blueberries - keeps them from going to the bottom of the bowl - you'll get blueberries in every scoop...

I looked for a waffle recipe until I found one that didn't call for separating the eggs and beating the egg whites. I guess I'm just lazy! But the waffles turn out really good. I like the double waffle maker. You either need that or you need two waffle irons going at once like I do - otherwise there's a lot of waiting.
