I think pea salad tastes best with frozen peas. I like mine with peas, homemade mayonnaise, finely minced white onion, and raw peanuts. It's delish!

I use Miracle Whip and add a couple of teaspoons of sugar, let it sit so it dissolves. Then add to frozen peas. If I have some onions or bacon to chop up and add, I'll put that in too. My mom adds some pickle relish. You really can't go wrong making this a delicious cold salad!

HOPE SOMEONE ELSE LIKES MY VARIATION! I DIDN'T LOOK IT UP UNTIL AFTER I HAD ALREADY MADE IT. MY FAMILY LOVED IT!

My mother made this and she used:
2 cans of peas drained
1/4 Cup Onion chopped
3 Large Eggs Crumbled
Salt
Pepper
Make and chill over night to enjoy cold from the frige on the 4th of July! It is easy to make larger servings by doubling over and over!

dill
crumbled bacon
