Pico de Gallo

You’ve seen it, heard about it, but have you tried it?  I’m quite surprised on how many have NOT tried this so I thought I’d tell you how I make it.  This is great for tacos:)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 Tomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 jalapeno chili peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. Salt

PREPARATION:

In a medium blowl, place all the ingredients and mix them together.  Makes 2 cups!

HA!!  You thought there was more to it huh?!

WOW, and I always called it my homemade salsa…LOL! I make that quite often in the summer from fresh ingredients from the garden, usually moms garden. My kids can’t get enough of it and I like the thought of knowing that it’s something that’s freshly made!
