Eating a beautiful place is so much fun! I'm glad you liked it, but I can't believe you didn't get a picture of your food--not even dessert!?
ITA with the others. Drink what you like, what taste good to you.

Hey there lady! Sounds like you had fun. You know, I used to be with you on the beer thing but then I started drinking white wine, Chardonnay and I'm not going back. Beers great for pizza and burger but otherwise I'm going for the white wine. By hubby, Bush Light all the way so don't feel not classy. Classy is being you.
That soup looked to die for! Yum!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I remember going to NY when I used to live back east.. was always a treat as there's such a variety of restaurants there to chose from. I understand they even have "tasting tours" where people take a group on a tour of little known but wonderful "hole in the wall type" eateries. Enjoy your posts!!

Sounds fun! I've only been to one fancy-schmancy restaurant and it was nice. I felt uncomfortable but I didn't really care too much because the food was wonderful!

Sounds like you had a nice time. Don't worry about drinking beer with dinner. There are many people who do that and there are many beer connoisseurs as well that pair different types of beers with different foods, just like they do wine. When my hubby used to drink he really was into all the different microbrews and different varieties.
