The New Healthy Choice and ConAgra

One of the more enjoyable experiences while being at SXSW, was having the chance to meet my sponsor ConAgra. Many of you might be familiar with the agricultural part of who they are so you might be surprised to know that they are the company behind some of your most favorite brands like Hunt’s, Slim Jim, Marie Callender’s, Orville Redenbacher, Chef Boyardee and even one my most favorite ingredients for many of my recipes–Ro*tel!

The meeting went well with them and it was very obvious that they care about how consumers feel and what they are wanting out of their products. They embraced the feedback and that means a lot to me. I was proud to have them as my sponsor and hope to work with them more in the future.

At the meeting, they introduced us to the NEW Healthy Choice All Natural meals. Now if you’re thinking about some of the older ones and going, “eh”, then you’ll need to reopen your mind because the new ones are fabulous. They are more of a gourmet nature with tons of flavor. Of course you could taste it all but I love when you can smell a dish and be able to smell the individual ingredients like cranberries or nutmeg.  My favorite was the Sweet Asian Potstickers (shown in picture).  I’m a pretty picky gal and was pleased with the ones we were able to try.
