So on Sunday, without any warning at all, Bluehost (my web host) gave me the boot. I wouldn’t have even known they gave me the boot until a reader emailed me with concern about my blogs. They told me they couldn’t handle my blogs and that they were causing to many queries so they took them offline. They never offered a warning, support or even a upgrade option….just POOF! They told me I had 2 weeks to transfer everything before it’s all deleted.
Since then, I have switched to HostGator and am trying to get everything transferred. I have heard nothing but good about them and so far my experience has been excellent. This is the only blog that is working so please bear with me folks!!!
I am so sorry for this. I had many unsubscribe already and I hope I can win you all back!!!! DON’T LEAVE ME!!!










Were you using a free site? I’ve been told the best is to secure your info on one you own.
No it wasn’t a free site. It was a paid web host.
Lori, I’m so sorry you had to go through this. You work so hard on your blogs. What a bunch of garbage from them. I hope Host Gator treats you right, and good luck getting everything put back together. I’m sure you’ll be fine with your subscribers.
I have never heard of a host doing such thing!
sorry about the troubles! doesn’t sound like “customer service” over at bluehost! hopefully moving will be a plus in the end.

i was wondering what had happened to you! i’ve never heard of a host doing that before either, but i’ve also been hearing bad things about bluehost recently. most of the people i know who were using bluehost have switched to hostgater and love it.

It was clear to me from the moment I noticed you were not online that it was only going to be temporary. Don’t worry – most will roll with the tide!

I wondered, but thought it was just a temporary glitch. Ridiculous of them to just drop you and not let you know!! Glad you are gonna be around for a while longer!
